Olivier Chaine, CEO and founder
As the founder and CEO, Olivier drives the strategy and vision of magnify360 Inc., a leading provider of marketing optimization technology. An industry veteran with over a decade of expertise in interactive marketing and technology, Olivier has worked with some of the world's most recognized brands, including Fox Sports, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and Blue Shield among others.
Olivier founded and led the highly successful online marketing agency, The Marketing Architects, prior to establishing magnify360 in early 2004. The Marketing Architects' portfolio of clients included InterActive Corp's (IAC) TicketMaster and Entertainment Publications, Inc. (EPI), Citrix Systems, Ryland Homes and other enterprise companies. In 2003 Olivier was recruited as the Interim CTO of StrongMail Systems, a leader in email marketing technology, for which he established business processes, launched the company's v1 platform in beta as well as helped to secure the company's first round of funding from Evercore and Sequoia Capital, the venture capitalists behind Google, Yahoo!, Cisco and Apple.
Olivier spent three years as the Vice President of Technology and Web Operations for the original team at LowerMyBills.com, which was acquired by Experian for over $400 million. Developing and launching the industry's first user behavior analysis system, Olivier helped LowerMyBills increase its conversion rate by over 200%, in addition to increasing site stability to over 99.9%.
Olivier came to LowerMyBills from USWeb/CKS, the world's leading interactive professional services firm with over 70 global offices. As Sr. Director of Business Strategy and Technology, Olivier oversaw more than 20 projects for clients, including Time Warner, Kaiser Permanente and LAVote.net, the first real-time online election reporting system. Olivier began his career as an aerospace engineer, working first for Lockheed Flight Systems on a gesture recognition program for combat helicopter pilots and later for Northrop Grumman on a GPS-guided parafoil delivery system.
Olivier Chaine earned his BS in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA and remains an active alumni member, frequently speaking to students on entrepreneurship. He is also a regular speaker and expert on online marketing, optimization and behavioral targeting at industry events across the nation.
