September 24, 2008 (Los Angeles, CA)

Today, ICYou (www.icyou.se), the parent company behind Interactive City, the first virtual world that will support a real and virtual economy, announced an agreement with magnify360 (www.magnify360.com), a leader in content personalization. ICYou plans to leverage magnify360"s technology to personalize the shopping experience of Interactive City residents and thereby increase the transactions of its retail partners. Virtual City will launch to an international audience in the winter of 2009.

"We are thrilled to work with ICYou on the development of this groundbreaking venture," said Olivier Chaine, the ceo and founder of magnify360. "The magnify360 Platform can be used to better understand the needs of their population, improve the user experience of their residents and increase the sales and marketing efforts of Interactive City, itself, and its brand partners."

magnify360 provides a Web-based platform, called the magnify360 Platform, that can automatically tailor the Interactive City experience to each resident, based on their online behaviors, needs, personality type and other parameters. By delivering each user with the most relevant content to meet their needs, Interactive City anticipates higher rates of user engagement, interactivity and transactions.

This is an unprecedented partnership bridging two of the most exciting areas in technology today," said Lars-Erik Ottenvall, ceo of ICYou. "With magnify360, Interactive City can revolutionize the online retail industry by providing brands with an unparalleled understanding of who their customers are and how they live and shop online."

In addition to improving the user experience, the magnify360 Platform can benefit retailers by providing anonymous data on individual and aggregate shopping habits, lead scoring and by connecting in real-time with brand"s customer relationship management (CRM), email systems and lead nurturing campaigns.

Interactive City will support real and virtual real estate, retail and other businesses, as well as networking, dating and other social activities. Residents will be able to design avatars that replicate their real-world measurements and features, allowing them to try on clothing and conduct business in a similar but more convenient and connected manner than offline.
