magnify360 is currently seeking a Web Engineer.
The Web Engineer is a member of magnify360's Client Success Team, the largest group in the organization and the team responsible for executing and managing client projects. This hands-on contributor is our in-house implementation expert and works closely with magnify360 Account Managers, Sales and clients, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. This role receives PSD files for the design of microsites, converts them into HTML and CSS and most importantly, sets up everything on the magnify360 Platform so that the microsite is fully functional and QA-ed.
The Web Engineer is also responsible for creating all microsite logic, utilizing the tools available on the magnify360 Platform. This includes setting up triggers (branching to another page), mapping to 3rd party CRM systems, setting up connectors, traffic control, pURL creation and tagging. The Web Engineer is also responsible for making recommendations on how to effectively optimize and streamline the implementation process and is the point person for training and managing development contractors.
Qualifications:
- BS, MS preferred in Computer Science or equivalent
- 2-3 years experience building high traffic web sites and Web operations at large digital media or ecommerce companies
- Intermediate to advanced experience with AJAX and other Web 2.0 technologies
- Intermediate experience with MS SQL. HTML, DHTML, CSS 2.0, XML, XSL, JavaScript, JSP, ASP and possibly, CGI scripting, Perl, Visual Basic, C++, Java.
- Experience in XML and XSL
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
