magnify360 is currently seeking a Chief Architect.
Provide senior-level application architectural leadership on development projects within The magnify360 Platform. Development of early-phase requirement assessments, prototyping, estimation, and technical designs that lead to the creation of application architectures that maximize processing efficiency, security and component reuse for an online web based application.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide senior-level technical leadership to the development team. Champion new solutions and approaches and guide successful technical adoption through mentoring, instruction, and by actively participating in software development projects. Collaborate with product management, business management and developers to ensure proper technology design and non functional considerations are addressed at each phase of the system life cycle.
Create visual artifacts such as sequence diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, class diagrams, process / data flow diagrams, use cases and other visual diagramming documentation as needed. Create and maintain system architecture models and design. Conduct technical research and prototyping. Create detailed requirements specifications and work closely with Engineers to fulfill product requirements . Provide project and/or team leadership
Qualifications:
- 5 -10 years of software development experience including various roles such as systems analysis, system development, system design or related experience.
- Thorough understanding of basic Internet protocols such as HTTP, SMTP, SOAP, SSL, WSDL.
- Strong experience in LAMP based technology platforms.
- Usage of Agile based development practices.
- Strong architecture and design experience. Experience dealing with Geo-Distributed software development
- Strong Knowledge of Content Management Systems, Multivariate Testing Systems, SEO/SEM, PPC, and Web Analytics Software.
- Strong analytical skills, extensive background in analyzing new and complex requirements and assessing both business and technical impact. Experience with design modeling diagrams such as sequence diagrams, database diagrams, class diagrams, process flow diagrams
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent education in a related discipline is required. Related work experience can be substituted for educational requirement.
